Live It Up
Live It Up is a program that was developed as an extension from One Stop Cancer Shop to keep cancer in the conversation.
This program brings churches and community groups together to spread hope and make a difference! These groups are committing to promote cancer awareness through announcements and hosting health events. Together, we can raise awareness and inspire change!

The goals of Live It Up are to:

Keep the community aware of cancer and how One Stop Cancer Shop can be a treatment and prevention resource.

Increase awareness of cancer prevention and early detection.

Create trusting relationships between healthcare students and community members.

Assist participants to implement health activities which will prevent cancer.

Promote attendance at One Stop Cancer Shop events on Sept. 27 and Nov. 1, 2025.

Live It Up's participants will hold events at churches and/or in the community that focus on healthcare, healthcare disparities, and cancer awareness with specific cancer facts pertinent to marginalized communities.
